Gents 2018

Euan Moir won this year's Club Championship in a thrilling final against Stewart Henderson, which went to the 36th hole. Both players played some outstanding golf in a game which was a delight for all spectators, as it was played in an atmosphere of great sportsmanship. Euan started the second round with 3 consecutive birdies. However, Stewart fought his way back and the players were all square coming down the 16th. Euan then claimed a birdie at the 16th to edge in to a lead, which he managed to hold on to in the 2 remaining holes. Congratulations to Euan on winning his fourth Club Championship. Thanks to all members and friends who supported the final and were treated to superb golf.

Ladies 2019

The Ladies Club Championship Final was contested this year by Fiona Norris, a previous 6 times club champion, against Alyson Hendry, a previous 18 times club champion. On a beautiful summer's evening on 28th June, the match was enjoyed by many of the Lady members. The course was in first class condition for the final. The match was all square at the turn in a keenly contested final. However, Fiona managed to find a bit extra and won the match on the 15th green to retain her Club Champion status. Congratulations to both players on reaching the final, and to Fiona on winning her 7th title (Fiona is to the right in the picture). Thanks to all members and friends who turned out to support the players in the final. And thanks to the green's staff for presenting the course in such excellent condition.

Juniors 2018

The 2018 Junior Club Championship final was again contested by the two brothers, Euan & Lewis Graham. On this occasion the younger brother, Lewis, prevailed, beating his brother by 6 & 5 in the 36 hole final. Euan was 4 up after a good start. However, in the second round Lewis had four threes from holes 7 - 10 to take a lead which he defended well. Congratulations are due to both boys on their achievement in once again reaching the final, and playing the final in great sportsmanship. The golf was fully appreciated by the spectators, with many of the Junior members attending the final. Congratulation to Lewis on winning his second Junior Club Championship, and thanks to all members and friends who supported the final.
